St Helens The Best Me CIC obtained funding from Community Foundation

The 100 Wellbeing bags for ladies and young people in the St. Helens community who needed a mindful boost due to the COVID 19 pandemic was successfully delivered and distributed. Within these bags, we included a variety of items that will support women and young people with mental health as well as information on services available and contact details.

We purchased most of these items from Amazon and vista print so we can have speedy delivery. We have provided weekly Women's empowerment sessions for the wider community online for them to access free of charge. We continue to create online videos and will use the LCR logo as part of our funders who made this possible. We have 6 Empowering sessions for young people via Park farm community centre for 8 young people who are anxious to start school and college. We have worked with the local authority to find the relevant people in need and have dropped off packs with the fire services and Refuge. Check out our social media.
